I mainly used the line tool to give me an idea of where the start forming my shapes. I used the circle tool an awful lot. for almost everything. It was too hard to go from black to colors by using the quick selection tool so I just preserved the layer opacity to create the image with my colors.
Our name is S.E.A.L.S and it is a horrible name. ahhh. BUT, I do like baby Seals. They are adorable and don't you dare tell me otherwise. Like they are soul-less demon with piercing black eyes because they are so precious. I love them.
On another note, I did look up how to find layer lock (Opacity lock on the layer) I looked it up, and it worked. So I am just dandy. Well, that must be it and I am off, I just really love the creative director logo. It is my favorite one.
I really liked how you put part of the word seals in one eye and the rest in the other. I would probably outline the word lemon flavored since it's yellow. You would do that by going to blending options and changing the stroke. Otherwise, its awesome!
ReplyDeleteI like how the logo looks like a seal's face, but there's a lot going on here. It might be better with a little more simplicity, possibly without the random little circles. However, I don't know what the concept is supposed to be here, so maybe those are important.

The way you made it look like an actual seals face and made the letters SEALS in the eyes without it looking bad. Your drawing could be improved just a bit by giving it more of a shape for the head
ReplyDeleteI really like everything about it , mostly how the colors are in the circle. Maybe next time make it with a different text and making it pop out more. Bradley Hand ITC would be a good font.
